Earlier this week I took a ferry from wando to jinbu. the ride was fantastic. I met two very nice french guys, and being the only whites on the boat, of course we stuck together. A giant group of older men and women essentially pushed us out of our primo window seat and took over the area. the benefit of this was that they later ended up giving us lunch, booze, and some attempts at conversation..
In typical korean fashion, they brought everything but the kitchen sink..
we were given some of the food. some ttok, pork, kimchi's, beer and soju.
after food the men played some gambling game..
and the women passed out.
the left over food for when gambling and sleep time was done. There ended up being a drunken singing session that would soon happen here.
It was a beautiful day for a boat ride. lovely sunny skies, crystal clear water.
