Here now and now here or nowhere

The title of this blog comes from a play on words that "now here" is also the same letters as "nowhere" just with a space added in the middle. I am always trying to get better at being in the here and now, and I've always been a bit of a joker so that is why I chose this name.

sake tasting

Kobe has a few sake breweries and they let you go on tours of their museums. most importantly they let you taste their goods. Most had free tastings and some had free basic tasting and a small cost more advanced tasting. however, if you don't speak japanese and "play" dumb while holding your cup out they'll force sake down your throat. it was a rough day indeed.

my first tasting spot. this guy really liked that i was from SF. i think i tried at least 15 different types of sake an plum wines here.

i'm a little bigger than the average sake brewer :)

the last spot i hit. again this guy kept loading me up. i even got some premium types here. i left heading back to rokko island a bit stumblie.
