Here now and now here or nowhere

The title of this blog comes from a play on words that "now here" is also the same letters as "nowhere" just with a space added in the middle. I am always trying to get better at being in the here and now, and I've always been a bit of a joker so that is why I chose this name.

around Hiroshima

I spent the last 3 days tooling around in Hiroshima. I absolutely loved the town. It is so pretty and alive. you'd probably think the opposite based on the tragic events that happened there but this is not the case. I spent the days going to museums, local islands, riding a bike around, and eating local foods.

Hiroshima is known for their okonomiyaki, a Japanese savoury "pancake" containing a variety of ingredients.

this is a watch at the Peace Museum. It's stopped at the exact time the bomb exploded. The museum is a beautiful and important place to walk around, but it's extremely depressing at the same time.

The peace park just ouside the museum has tons of monuments and things of remembrance for the victims and tragic acts that happened there in 1945
