Here now and now here or nowhere

The title of this blog comes from a play on words that "now here" is also the same letters as "nowhere" just with a space added in the middle. I am always trying to get better at being in the here and now, and I've always been a bit of a joker so that is why I chose this name.

Phu Quoc

Phu Quoc is touted as Vietnam's Thailand which is sort of a strange name but they are trying to bring tourism for the beaches. Though not quite the amazing beaches I've heard that Thailand has, Phu Quoc was a nice place to spend some time.

Our boat from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc

We stayed at this nice and quaint "resort" for a week. They had simple bungalows with a nice common area and about a 2 minute walk to the beach

in order to get to the local market you had to cross this bridge. since it's in a harbor the bridge actually was a boat of sorts that they'd close off and swing to the side. sort of like a drawbridge, but much more simple. here we are waiting for the bridge to come back.
